A good diet is crucial for good health, but good food means much more than providing needed nutrients. The enjoyment of good food is one of the pleasures in life, even when you have special dietary needs.

Residents at Renaissance Gardens at Brooksby Village enjoy delicious food, whether they eat in the dining room, in one of five on-campus restaurants, or in the privacy of their own residence. A variety of fresh meals is prepared on-site at Renaissance Gardens by a dedicated chef.

All too often residents in other extended care facilities do not have choices about what and when they eat. At Renaissance Gardens at Brooksby Village, flexible dining allows residents to eat a variety of foods at a variety of times. Residents choose food items and meal or snack times according to their own preferred schedule—just like they always have. In fact, our experience with flexible dining shows people tend to gain or maintain a healthy weight when they choose what and when to eat.
