We hold numerous educational seminars at various Erickson Communities for care professionals—including physicians, nurses, social workers, discharge planners, and case managers—and even for their family members and neighbors. A mix of lunch time or dinner time sessions are scheduled for the convenience of attendees.
There are two types of seminars—those offering CME/CE credits for care professionals, and those that are of general interest on professional and personal topics.
Previous seminar topics have included:
- A three-night series on estate planning
- A discussion on the latest findings in dementia care
- And a social work session conducted by a nationally known geriatric case manager
Seminars are conducted by a variety of different speakers, ranging from experts connected to local universities, to researchers or specialists in various fields, to authors, elder law attorneys, and special case managers.
Here are upcoming professional learning seminars at a Renaissance Gardens near you:
Renaissance Gardens at Brooksby Village in conjunction with Hospice of the North Shore present a series of seminars for eldercare professionals.
