When your loved one comes to the Renaissance Gardens neighborhood in an Erickson community, he or she becomes a campus resident. That means he or she can share in all of the community's amenities and programs (as health and inclination dictate).
That includes the Fitness Center, bank, on-site Medical Center, indoor pool (where residents can enjoy water aerobics and other ways to stay fit), tai chi, gourmet dining, and activities that are only limited by their interests.
There’s a lot of connectivity between Independent Living and Renaissance Gardens neighborhoods. Some of that is literal: most of our communities are designed with weatherproof walkways** so that bad weather never keeps your loved one from enjoying a planned activity elsewhere. If he or she can’t travel via walkway, shuttle services are also available.
There’s also a constant exchange between the residents in each neighborhood. Volunteers from Independent Living come here to help residents and add even more interest to day-to-day living.
It’s also not unusual for a couple to have one spouse in Independent Living and another who’s moved into Renaissance Gardens.
For a complete overview of the Erickson Lifestyle, visit the Erickson Communities website or, better still, visit a community in person.
