Q: Do Alzheimer’s residents live in a separate unit?
A: At Renaissance Gardens, we make every effort to support and enhance the independence of every resident, and as appropriate bring Alzheimer’s patients into the life of the broader Renaissance Gardens community. For this reason, we assign some Alzheimer’s Care residents to Assisted Living* residences, and some to Long-Term Nursing Care residences, depending on the severity of their illnesses and their need for greater security and oversight.

Q: Are your Short-Term Rehabilitation services (physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies) available five or more days a week? How do Short-Term Rehabilitation residents get to their sessions?
A:The rehabilitation gym holds individual sessions five or more days per week. The rehabilitation gym is located inside Renaissance Gardens and we encourage Short-Term Rehabilitation residents to be independent, and if possible to walk or wheel themselves to the gym. If this is not possible, we will make sure your loved one gets to his or her session on time.
