- Physicians who are board certified, and average 14 years’ experience when hired.
- Nurse practitioners who are nationally certified in geriatrics. They average over four years of experience as a nurse practitioner when hired (and in most cases average many more years as a nurse).
- Nurse clinical specialists in mental health who average over 13 years of experience as a clinical specialist when hired.
All of these people, plus our physical, speech, and occupational therapists, plus dietitians and social workers, are highly trained in their fields. Erickson funds them to participate in a wide range of continuing education programs and they belong to more than 30 professional medical organizations. We’ve researched special techniques for lifting and handling patients so as to minimize injuries.
Beyond the health team, Erickson makes an exceptional effort to ensure that all our people are always there to help your loved one. We’ve arranged emergency transportation so the home aide your loved one knows isn’t kept from work. We’ve provided staff members direct assistance with major home maintenance problems such as heating and plumbing.
